Photography

I am an amateur photographer who enjoys shooting travel photography, portraiture, and street scenes. I shoot with a Pentax k10D.  I love the camera and its controls. It was exactly what I needed to get interested in photography again.

My gear:

• Pentax k10d
• Pentax DA* 50-135mm (IF ED) (an amazing lens, worth every penny)
• Pentax DA 21mm f/3.2 Limited (my walk-around lens, super small and great)
• Pentax FA 77mm f/1.8 Limited (my most beautiful and favorite portraits have been made with this one)
• Pentax FA 50mm f/1.4 (a must-have lens, excellent for night scenes)
• Pentax smc M 135mm f/3.5 (a beautiful and incredibly sharp older lens. Got it on eBay for a very reasonable price)
• Pentax smc M 80-200mm f/4 (manual focus zoom, got it before getting the DA*, surprisingly good for portraits, great bokeh)
• Pentax DA 18-50mm f/3.5-5 kit lens (a reasonable kit lens)
• Seagate FreeAgent Go 250GB drive (to store all my RAW files)
• Adobe Photoshop Lightroom (not really equipment, but digital photography wouldn’t be as fun or as “easy” without it)

My wish list:

• full frame digital SLR (maybe a Nikon?); I’d be happy with a k-7 or k-x though
• 4×5 field camera (would love to learn and experiment with large format)
