Bon Jovi live in Pittsburgh
I saw Bon Jovi in concert last week in Pittsburgh. It was my first concert in over a decade, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I must say, however, that it was a lot of fun. The music was great, visuals were dazzling, and the crowd was totally into it. It was a pretty interesting crowd… I felt old and young at the same time. I snapped a few photos and am sharing them here. Go see the concert for yourself!

I realized how long it had been since I go to a concert when I saw people waving their cell phones in the air while singing along some of the slower songs. I guess lighters aren’t in mode anymore. It was also funny to see people trying to take photos with their cell phone cameras. My Motorola Razor’s camera is pretty horrible, so that was a useless attempt. I took these photos with my Exilim 3.2 megapixel camera. It has no zoom, and the digital zoom comes out noisy, but the camera delivered nonetheless during the concert. Given how close I was sitting I wished I had been carrying a digital SLR, but I probably would have been tossed out. What are the rules on snapping photos in concerts nowadays anyway? Given that everyone was packing a camera (and some people did have some fairly big cameras), seems hard to control that. Anyway, times have changed I guess. That and I need to start going to more concerts.

Thank you very much for posting the concert photo of Jon Bon Jovi. My aunt and cousin (and her friend) are in that photo too, actually! We would love to see more pictures that they are in too. Do you have any more? How about video? I don’t know if you remember how Jon Bon Jovi danced with a blonde woman from the crowd, but my aunt was that woman. Please let us know if you have anything else from that part of the concert. It makes a wonderful “souvenir”! Thank you so much!
Yup, just found them. Will email them to you. Thanks for checking out my blog!
I should probably update it.. it’s been over half a year!
